— the photographer behind River & Roan Studios! I first picked up a camera with the simple intention of capturing photos of our horses and my real estate listings. Family photography? Honestly, it wasn’t part of the plan. But life had other ideas.

After taking a mentorship under a family photographer to master editing and camera settings, I unexpectedly fell in love with capturing families — and it all just clicked (literally and figuratively).

Outside of photography, I’m a mom to the sweetest little girl who was born in April 2025. Getting to document her growth — and spend time with her — has made me cherish this work even more.

Maggie became part of the team in the most fun, full-circle kind of way. After I photographed her and her fiancé one afternoon, I could instantly tell she had a natural eye for connection and posing. I messaged her right after and asked if she’d ever considered photography—within minutes she said yes, and she’s been helping capture families and couples ever since!
