There’s just something so special about capturing a first birthday — and this one for little Kreece is one I won’t forget! We took his session photos right on his family’s property in North Alabama, which couldn’t have been more perfect. What better place to celebrate such a big milestone than where he’s making some of his first memories?

Kreece’s mom wanted to capture his big personality and all the things he loves right now — and I think we did just that! We started with a few photos of him in this field with his pony (how cute is that?!), then moved to the arena where he played with his favorite toys. We even recreated a sweet memory in the stock trailer, just like his older brother did at the same age, and lastly with Kreece sitting on his very own saddle.

These photos are full of personality — exactly what milestone sessions should be. I absolutely adore first birthday sessions like this, where we can freeze time and document all the fun quirks and sweet smiles that make your little one unique.
