Senior year is such a special milestone — not just for the graduates, but for the families who’ve watched them grow into the amazing young adults they are today.
This particular session was a little different — it was actually a model call! I knew I wanted to get more senior girls behind my camera this year, and I was so thankful when these three sweet girls volunteered to model for me. We started out at one of my favorite spots in downtown Arab, right by the Four Knights Coffee Shop, and the charm of the area did not disappoint.
Graduation season brings so many emotions — excitement, pride, and just a little bit of bittersweet reflection. That’s why I always recommend booking senior portraits in the fall. The leaves are gorgeous, the weather is usually just right, and it gives youplenty of time to get those graduation cards ordered in the spring. A fall session paired with a quick spring mini for cap & gown photos is my favorite combo for a well-rounded senior gallery.
Whether it’s a full session with multiple outfits or a simple mini to document the cap toss — I love capturing the joy, nerves, and personality that come with this huge life moment.
